Versatile
This kit also works on gear pulleys and steering wheels since the bearing-centered circular 2/3-way and assortment of metric and fractional bolts and adapters provide wide coverage. It fits L98 & LT series engines and GM LS1 with aftermarket 3-bolt style balancer. If your balancer has threaded drilled and tapped holes in the front (to attach supplied pulling bolts to), it is compatible.
Easy to Use
Every engine is different, but you’ll generally want to remove the belt from the crankshaft pulley and take off the harmonic balancer mounting bolt with a socket and ratchet. From there, you'll use this tool to take off the balancer from the crankshaft. Reinstalling is the same steps in reverse. Compare the old part and the new part to make sure the bolt hole locations are the same, and always pay attention to the proper torque settings.
Easy Storage
A heavy-duty 13” x 9.5” x 2.5” plastic blow-molded carrying case is included for easy transportation, simple storage, and quick organization. Each slot in the case has an embossed size labeling for easy identification.
